Cesar Mergener is a civil engineer and he holds a bachelor degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, and a master's degree in Business Administration - MBA - from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and from Fundação Getúlio, in Rio de Janeiro.

He also holds an MBA in Finance from the Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets (IBMEC), in Rio de Janeiro, and from the Pontifical Catholic University, also in Rio de Janeiro.

Mergener has solid professional experience in activities related to corporate restructuring and turnaround, financial modeling and M&A valuation.

For more than 20 years, he has held strategic management positions, as Chief Financial Officer and General Manager, in leading multinational companies in their segments, both in Brazil and in Africa, such as McDonald's, Technip and DHL Global Forwarding.
